01Burner will not igniteConstant clicking, no spark or a burner that lights slowly usually comes from moisture, a dirty igniter, a burner cap out of place or the spark module.
02Oven not heatingOn gas ovens, a weak igniter is the most common cause of slow or no heat. On electric and dual-fuel ovens, an element or the temperature sensor.
03Refrigerator not coolingBuilt-in Viking refrigerators need clean condensers and working fans. Note the temperatures and whether the unit runs constantly.
04Dishwasher not drainingRinse the filter, then check the drain hose. Standing water after that points to the drain pump.

What should I have ready before my Viking service visit?

Can a Viking range need service even when some burners still work?
Yes. Individual burners, oven functions and controls can develop different faults. Share the model, fuel type and which functions are affected so the diagnosis targets the actual problem.
Why does my Viking oven take so long to heat up?
Most Viking gas ovens light with a glow-bar igniter. As the igniter weakens it takes longer to open the gas valve, so preheat drags or the oven stops lighting. On electric and dual-fuel models, the bake element or the temperature sensor causes the same symptom. Tell us the fuel type and how long preheat takes.
Why does my Viking burner keep clicking after I turn it off?
Viking burners use spark ignition. After a spill or cleaning, moisture in the burner or switch can keep it clicking; let the cooktop dry for a few hours. If it keeps clicking, the ignition switch or spark module needs to be tested. Turn the range off at the breaker if the clicking won’t stop.
