When something goes wrong

Thermador range, refrigeration and dishwasher problems.

Tell us what you are seeing. We will help determine the practical next step.

01Oven not heating evenlyThermador ovens use separate elements and a convection fan for each mode. Tell us which mode cooks poorly and whether preheat is slow.

02Burner will not igniteStar burners relight automatically if the flame goes out. Constant clicking or a burner that won’t light points to moisture, a dirty igniter or the spark module.

03Refrigerator not coolingFreedom columns and built-in refrigerators need clean condensers and working fans. Note the temperatures and whether the unit runs constantly.

04Dishwasher not drainingRinse the filter first. Thermador dishwashers share their design with Bosch, so an E24 or E25 code points to the drain path.

05Control or display errorsWrite down any code and which appliance or mode shows it. We test the control before replacing a board.

06Unusual operating noisesA loud convection fan, a buzzing refrigerator or a grinding dishwasher pump each point to a specific part. Tell us when you hear it.

Thermador repair FAQs

What Thermador appliances does Near repair?

All of them. We repair all brands, makes, and models — every Thermador appliance, including ranges & rangetops, built-in refrigeration, wall ovens and dishwashers. Have your model number ready when you call (405) 534-4788 so we can bring the right parts.

What should I have ready before my Thermador service visit?

The model and serial number, a short description of what the appliance is doing, any error code on the display and when the problem started. Here’s how to find your model number.

What should I report about a Thermador range with an oven fault?

Describe the affected cooking mode, preheat behavior and whether the cooking surface still works. Share the model and fuel configuration so the correct oven and control systems can be tested.

Why does my Thermador burner keep clicking?

Thermador Star burners relight automatically, so the igniter clicks whenever it doesn’t sense a flame. Clicking with the burner off usually means moisture from a spill or cleaning; let the cooktop dry for a few hours. Clicking with the flame on often means a dirty igniter, a burner cap out of position or a fault in the spark module.

My Thermador dishwasher shows E15. What should I do?

Like Bosch, Thermador dishwashers have leak protection: E15 means water reached the base pan and the dishwasher shut itself off. Turn it off and don’t keep restarting it. The source of the leak has to be found and repaired and the base dried. Call (405) 534-4788 and we’ll diagnose it.

Why does my Thermador steam oven keep asking me to descale?

Steam ovens heat water to make steam, and minerals from the water build up in the steam system. The oven tracks use and prompts you to descale; skipping it leads to weak steam and error messages. If descaling doesn’t clear the message, or the oven won’t make steam, we diagnose the steam system.

How much does Thermador repair cost?

The price depends on what has failed in your Thermador appliance and the part it needs. We charge by the job, not by the hour, and you get a written estimate to approve before any work starts. Service call fee waived with completed repair.

How soon can I get an appointment?

Thermador repair appointments are available every day of the week from 9 AM to 6 PM. You can book online 24/7 or call (405) 534-4788 to talk with our team.

What warranty comes with a Thermador repair?

After your Thermador repair, you’re covered for a year: 1 year on labor and 1 year on qualified installed parts.
