Does a KitchenAid refrigerator ice problem always need a new ice maker?
No. Water supply, freezer temperature, the fill path and controls can cause the same symptoms. Tell us the refrigerator model (here’s how to find your model number) and whether dispensing or cooling changed, and we’ll test the system before recommending a part.
Why is my KitchenAid dishwasher not cleaning or drying well?
Most KitchenAid dishwashers have a filter at the bottom of the tub that should be rinsed every month or two; a clogged filter leaves food on dishes and water in the tub. Keep the rinse aid filled, run the kitchen tap until the water is hot before you start a cycle, and use the heated or extended dry option for plastics. If dishes still come out dirty or wet, the heater, wash pump or spray arms need a check.
Why is my KitchenAid oven not heating to temperature?
On gas ovens and ranges, a weak oven igniter is the most common cause: it glows, but not hot enough to open the gas valve. On electric and dual-fuel models, look for a broken bake element and listen for the convection fan. Tell us how long preheat takes and which modes work.
