When something goes wrong
U-Line ice machine, wine and beverage problems.
Tell us what you are seeing. We will help determine the practical next step.
01Not cooling properlyBuilt-in units vent through the front grille. A dirty condenser, a blocked grille or a failing fan can leave the cabinet warm.
02Ice production problemsSlow or no ice often comes from scale on the evaporator, a water supply problem or a drain that’s backed up. Cleaning and repair are different jobs; diagnosis tells which you need.
03Temperature fluctuationsWine and beverage units should hold steady. Swings usually point to the door seal, the temperature sensor or the control.
04Water leaksIce machines drain meltwater during every cycle, so a clogged drain line or a failing drain pump is a common source of leaks.
05Excess frostFrost buildup usually means the door isn’t sealing or the defrost cycle isn’t working. Check that nothing is keeping the door from closing.
06Unusual noisesA drain pump running nonstop, a rattling fan or a buzzing water valve each point to a specific part. Tell us when you hear it.

U-Line repair FAQs
What U-Line appliances does Near repair?
All of them. We repair all brands, makes, and models — every U-Line appliance, including undercounter refrigeration, wine refrigerators, beverage centers and ice machines. Have your model number ready when you call (405) 534-4788 so we can bring the right parts.
What should I have ready before my U-Line service visit?
The model and serial number, a short description of what the appliance is doing, any error code on the display and when the problem started. Here’s how to find your model number.
What should I report about a U-Line ice machine that stopped producing?
Provide the model, any displayed message and whether water supply, draining or cooling changed. Cleaning and mechanical repair are different service needs; diagnosis establishes the appropriate work.
Why is my U-Line ice machine making less ice than it used to?
The usual cause is mineral scale on the evaporator, which slows freezing; a partly closed water valve, a clogged water filter or a slow drain can do the same. If the machine hasn’t been cleaned in the last six months, start with an ice machine cleaning. If production stays low after cleaning, we diagnose the water, refrigeration and drain systems.
Does my U-Line ice machine need a drain pump?
It depends on the model and where the nearest drain is. Clear ice machines drain water during every cycle; where water can’t flow down to a drain by gravity, a drain pump moves it to the sink drain. If water is pooling or the machine shows a drain error, the pump or the drain line needs attention.
How much does U-Line repair cost?
The price depends on what has failed in your U-Line unit and the part it needs. We charge by the job, not by the hour, and you get a written estimate to approve before any work starts. Service call fee waived with completed repair.
How soon can I get an appointment?
U-Line repair appointments are available every day of the week from 9 AM to 6 PM. You can book online 24/7 or call (405) 534-4788 to talk with our team.
What warranty comes with a U-Line repair?
After your U-Line repair, you’re covered for a year: 1 year on labor and 1 year on qualified installed parts.
