Miele refrigerators and freezers (including MasterCool), dishwashers, W1 washers, T1 dryers, wall ovens, speed and steam ovens, ranges, cooktops, built-in coffee systems and wine storage units. Not sure about yours? Call us and we’ll tell you.

Scale and coffee residue are the usual causes. Run the descaling program when the machine asks for it, rinse the brew unit under warm water (on most models it lifts out from behind a side or front door) and change the water filter if you use one. If coffee still drips slowly, leaks or the machine shows a fault message, we diagnose the brew unit, pump, grinder and water system.

Miele T1 heat-pump dryers dry at lower temperatures, so their cycles run longer than a vented dryer by design. When drying gets noticeably slower, clean the lint filters in the door opening and the plinth filter behind the flap at the bottom, and empty the water container if your model has one. If it’s still slow or shows a fault, the heat-pump system, sensors or fan need to be checked.

Write down the drain message and your model number. Switch the dishwasher off and follow your model’s manual before you remove the filter combination at the bottom of the tub; watch for broken glass or other sharp pieces, and check that the drain hose isn’t kinked. Don’t reach into the drain pump opening or remove service panels. If water still stands or the drain fault comes back, call and we’ll test the pump and the drain path.
