When something goes wrong
Wolf range, oven and cooktop problems.
Tell us what you are seeing. We will help determine the practical next step.
01Burner will not igniteWolf burners relight automatically, so a burner that clicks and won’t stay lit often has a dirty igniter, a cap out of place or moisture. No spark at all points to the spark module.
02Oven not heating evenlyWolf ovens balance several elements with a convection fan. Tell us the mode you used; one failed element changes how a mode cooks.
03Temperature swingsAn oven that overshoots or runs cool needs its temperature probe and control tested. An oven thermometer reading helps.
04Control or display errorsWrite down any message. Control panels, touch screens and relays are tested before a board is replaced.
05Unusual fan noisesThe cooling fan running for a while after cooking is normal. Grinding, or a fan that never stops, usually means a worn motor or a faulty switch.
06Door or gasket issuesHeat escaping, a door that won’t close flat or a torn gasket slows cooking and heats the controls. Hinges and gaskets can be replaced.

Wolf repair FAQs
What Wolf appliances does Near repair?
All of them. We repair all brands, makes, and models — every Wolf appliance, including ranges, rangetops & cooktops and built-in ovens. Have your model number ready when you call (405) 534-4788 so we can bring the right parts.
What should I have ready before my Wolf service visit?
The model and serial number, a short description of what the appliance is doing, any error code on the display and when the problem started. Here’s how to find your model number.
What should I report about a Wolf dual-fuel range?
Identify whether the problem affects the gas cooking surface, the electric oven or both. Share the exact model, selected mode and any message so the relevant systems can be assessed.
Why won’t my Wolf burner stay lit?
Wolf sealed burners relight automatically when the flame goes out, so a burner that keeps clicking and dropping its flame usually has a cap out of place, clogged ports or a dirty igniter. Make sure the cap sits flat and the ports are dry and clear. If it still won’t hold a flame, we test the igniter, spark module and gas valve. If you smell gas, turn the appliance off, leave the house and call 911 and your gas company from outside.
Why is my Wolf oven fan still running after I turn the oven off?
That’s the cooling fan, and it’s normal. It keeps running to protect the controls until the oven has cooled down. If it never shuts off, runs with a cold oven or makes a grinding sound, the fan or its temperature switch needs to be checked.
Do you also repair Sub-Zero refrigerators?
Yes. Wolf’s sister brand Sub-Zero has its own page: Sub-Zero repair.
How much does Wolf repair cost?
We don’t bill by the hour. The technician diagnoses your Wolf appliance, explains what’s wrong and gives you a written price for the repair before anything is fixed. Service call fee waived with completed repair.
How soon can I get an appointment?
You can book a Wolf repair visit online around the clock and choose any day of the week, 9 AM–6 PM. Prefer to talk it through? Call (405) 534-4788.
What warranty comes with a Wolf repair?
Every Wolf repair comes with a 1-year warranty on labor and a 1-year warranty on qualified installed parts.
